COVID 19 NOTE
Sunnyside has maintained a full service for all residents during the pandemic and are accepting new residents.

Since the start of the pandemic no resident has contracted and subsequently passed away from the disease while in the home. This has been achieved through a rigarous programme of infection control procedures, abundant supply of personal protection equipment (PPE) at all times regardless of the expense and the purchase of additional equipment such as Ozone and Fogging disinfectors which have proved vital against the spread of the virus.
All our residents and staff who are able to have the vaccine have done so and our local GP will undertake this service for all newly admitted residents should it be required.

Daily life in the home has been significantly affected although activities and other daily routines have been maintain as much as possible. Visiting is still possible using our visiting pods in the garden or in the entrance to the home provided PPE and social distancing rules are adhered to.
